Again, this is my final draft of my music video which has been gradually improved using audience feedback which is vital.
More comments on what you like and dislike would be great, as it will help me in my evaluation, thank you!

Final Products- Digipak and Advert:
Below are my finished ancillary products- the digipak and the advertisement.
I have put the digipak together in a publisher file to show roughly what it would look like if it was actually made.
Any feedback on what you like and dislike the most would be much appreciated :)

First Draft of Advert:
This is my first draft, but after looking at examples of other adverts such as Jessie J's and Ellie Goulding's previous adverts, I realised my advert looks too much like a magazine cover. I will therefore try to make it look more like a proffessional advert.

Changes to my Digipak:
After Editing some of my images and completing both my front and back cover panes, I have decided to change to a 4 pane digipak, as it would work better as I can put my letter of thanks from the artist as an inside pane and have an image of Beth as Ellie walking outside as the photograph for the CD. I will then make a spine, as I believe this 4 pane design will help give a sense of simplicity, and using 3 images of Beth in a 6 pane will not add much.

Audience Feedback from Third Draft of Music Video:
I carried out some questionnaires on my target audience after they watch my most recent draft of my music video. Taking their comments into consideration, I will begin to finish up my music video and improve the factors that they have commented on.

Chosing a Digipak Front Cover Design:
I picked the font 'Bellerose' with the help of audience feedback and my own personal preference. I then used Photoshop to add it on to my front cover image and experimented with different colours, sizes and angles.
Below is the drafts that I did, please comment on what one you like the most for the front cover of my album digipak.

This is the original edit that I did. I added some light coming from the top so that the rest of her is darker and made her eyes more blue so that they would stand out.

Experimenting with the Inside Panes of my Digipak:
In an attempt to create a good quality picture for the inside panes of my digipak, I tried to stretch an image that I took last year, as I want the effect of one image across all three panes. However as I stretched this, Beth became smaller and distorted in the image, meaning that I'll have to rethink my idea.
I also tried the same idea out with this image below, but instead of stretching it I added on a few centimetres to the page and and copied and pasted some of the leaves to make the image appear longer. However this proved difficult because the shadow from the tree will have to follow on and the quality of the picture decreased significantly.
After experimenting with editing one image to put across the 3 inside panes of my digipak, I have decided to try to use three different outdoor images or landscape images similar to the ones above as I think that it will have roughly the same effect and will look nice.

Chosing my Digipak Font:
The name of the album is Halcyon and I have experimented with different fonts to see which one suits the style of it the most.
Feedback on which one I should pick would be much appreciated :)

Editing and Chosing my Images:
I have decided to use the 6 pane digipak because I feel that it is more of Ellie Goulding's style as it is a bit alternative and allows for more imagery and information to be included to ensure complete satisfaction among the target audience.
Using the audience feedback from the post where I put up example photographs from my digipak shoot, I have edited some of my favourite images by experimenting with effects. I have lightened some of the images up so that the quality is increased, but I want the photos on the digipak to be natural and simple so I have only done this to a small extent. I particularly like the use of black and white and the effect where there is still colour but it is very dull. With the edited 5 and 6 images I have cropped the right hand side and added effects because I like the idea of putting the photograph on the third outside pane of the digipak and writing a letter of thanks from the artist in the left hand corner, as Beth is looking in that direction.
Any feedback is welcome to let me know what effect you like best and also where on the digipak you would like to see the pictures.

Editing Process:
This is a screen shot of Final Cut Pro X which is the tool that I'm using in editing my music video. I have so far uploaded 2 drafts of my music video and the editing is coming along well with the help from audience feedback, which is a vital part in the editing process as I can improve the video according to the wants and needs of the target audience.
I have been focusing on the last part of the music video where Natalie is introduced, and using a montage style to put together some clips that portray a hopeful and more upbeat image of Beth's life, as opposed to the dark and depressive first part. As you can see from the main image below of Beth and Natalie, they are laughing, and I have edited it so that Beth seems to be coming gradually happier, as she plays on the swings with her friend; the same swings that she was on before on her own when a lonely image is portrayed.
I have experimented with cross dissolves and varied the length of them, to show one part of Beth's life blurring into another, giving the effect of time passing. I also adapted the lighting in the first section of the video to be a lot more darker and dreary, but kept the lighting normal for the second part to represent her life lighting up as she begins to move on.

Examples of Photos for my Digipak:
The following pictures are ones that I have taken of Beth for my digipak, as I wanted a simple look. Please comment on the ones that you prefer :)
I used Beth for my coursework last year and the following pictures are ones that I have taken previously, but I may still use them.
