Test Shooting Day:

In order to test out the lighting of scene 1 where Beth wakes up in the morning, I organised a test shoot date to check all the equipment and start to get an idea of the practical side, not just on paper. It went very well but I have decided not to use artificial lighting as it created shadows and did not look natural enough. I tested the use of complete natural light and this turned out to look much more effective. I attempted to make the artificial light work as it would be a good thing to use for the internal shots, but there were always shadows and though the curtains were shut, some blue light was in the room, and mixed with the yellow light didn't look as effective.
